Terms of Use

Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") set the legal framework for using the web and mobile services operated by iceprofile ("Platform", "we", "us"). Any natural or legal person ("User", "you") who creates an account or uses the services in any way acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Platform or create an account.
Definitions
- Platform
- The iceprofile web application (admin.iceprofile.com and associated domains) together with the iceprofile mobile applications.
- Club
- A figure skating club registered on the Platform.
- Club administrator
- A person authorized to administer the Platform on behalf of a Club.
- Coach
- A person designated by the Club on the Platform as a coach.
- Athlete
- A natural person registered on the Platform as a member of the Club.
- Guardian
- A legal representative using the Platform on behalf of an Athlete under 18.
- Content
- All text, images, comments, announcements and other data that Users upload to the Platform.
Scope of the Service
The Platform offers membership management, group and training schedule, attendance tracking, payment tracking, announcements and internal messaging tools for figure skating clubs in Türkiye, along with a public club directory. The whole or part of the service may be temporarily unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates or improvements.
Account Creation and Security
To use the Platform you must create an account with a valid email address or phone number. You represent that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete. You are solely responsible for keeping your password, one-time passcodes (OTP) and similar credentials confidential. All actions taken through your account are deemed to be yours.
If you become aware of unauthorized access, you must notify us without delay. Without timely notice, iceprofile cannot be held liable for damages arising from such unauthorized access.
User Obligations
When using the Platform you agree:
- To comply with applicable law, general morality and these Terms.
- Not to infringe the personality rights, intellectual property rights or privacy of others.
- Not to engage in actions that endanger the security, integrity or availability of the system (uploading malware, brute-force attacks, unauthorized scanning, etc.).
- Not to collect data via automated tools at a frequency beyond what the Platform permits (scraping, crawling).
- Not to create an account under someone else's identity or share misleading information.
- To ensure that Content you upload is lawful, appropriate for minors where relevant and respects copyrights.
Pricing and Payment
iceprofile's core club profile and membership management features are currently offered free of charge. The Platform may later offer optional paid packages or add-on modules. The scope, pricing, payment terms, refund and withdrawal rights for such paid services will be set out in a separate contract and/or preliminary information form provided at the time of purchase. Rights under distance-selling legislation are reserved.
Intellectual Property
The Platform software, interfaces, logos, the iceprofile trademark, content and editorial structure belong to iceprofile or to its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the service for personal and non-commercial purposes. Copying, modifying, reverse engineering or creating derivative works of the software in whole or in part is prohibited.
Content you upload remains yours. By uploading, you grant iceprofile a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable right to host, display, convert into statistics, back up and perform technical processing necessary to deliver the service.
Additional Obligations of Club Administrators
Club administrators, in their capacity as data controllers for the club they represent, are subject to the additional obligations below:
- Ensuring the legal basis (explicit consent or other grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK) exists for processing athlete and guardian data you add to the Platform.
- Informing your members that their data will be processed on iceprofile through your own KVKK disclosure notice.
- Keeping attendance, payment and performance records accurate, current and limited to the processing purpose.
- Handling data processing, erasure and correction requests from club members on time and, when needed, requesting assistance from iceprofile.
- Deactivating or requesting anonymization of accounts of athletes whose club membership ends, within a reasonable period.
Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service without prior notice on justified grounds — in particular to protect security and other Users — if behaviour in breach of these Terms or of applicable law is detected. You may close your account at any time through the settings or by written request. Closing the account does not extinguish obligations and liabilities that arose before that time.
Limitation of Liability
iceprofile provides the service on an "as is" basis with appropriate technical care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of goodwill or loss of data. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you have actually paid to iceprofile in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; for free use our liability is limited to 500 (five hundred) Turkish Liras. Rights arising from consumer law are reserved.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold iceprofile harmless from any claim, action or damage arising from your use of the Platform in breach of these Terms, your Content or your acts infringing third-party rights.
Changes
iceprofile may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are announced through the Platform or by email, and the effective date at the top of this page is updated accordingly. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by the courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (İstanbul Çağlayan Adliyesi İstanbul Mahkemeleri ve İcra Daireleri). Your right to apply to the competent consumer arbitration board or consumer court as a consumer is reserved.
Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseeable force majeure events such as earthquakes, floods, epidemics, war, terrorism, cyber attacks, general strikes, decisions of public authorities, internet infrastructure outages and the like, our obligations under these Terms are deemed to be suspended until the adverse effects of those events cease.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a competent court to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be disregarded only to the extent of such invalidity; the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Notices
Notices from iceprofile to you may be delivered via the Platform, the email address on your account or your registered phone number. Notices to us should be sent to legal@iceprofile.com or to the registered address indicated above.
